This is a sample of the vendors who will be part of our Vendor Fair that is conjunction with our 2015 Car/Tractor Show.

Shekinah

Shekinah is a contemporary worship music project comprised of Patrick and Lynn Moore, Rick Arrowood and Doug Bruce. They seek to glorify God through musical excellence and worship.

Patrick and Lynn Moore lead worship at Fairview Community Church in Indianola, Iowa. They have been involved in many worship projects throughout the years and love ministering to the elderly. While Patrick plays many instruments, he prefers to concentrate mainly on guitar and vocals. Lynn’s love for God and people is exemplified through her vocals in worship and song

Rick Arrowood attends Heartland Church and is the Director of Kingdom House of Prayer in Ankeny, Iowa. His heart for God is evident when he leads worship and prayer. He is a songwriter, and plays keyboard and bass in Shekinah. Rick lives in Des Moines, is a dad of 3, grandpa of 4.7 and married to his best friend, Kerie.

Doug Bruce attends Grace Church in Urbandale, Iowa and he has a heart for evangelism. He is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter and plays drums for Shekina. Doug loves dearly his wife Deb of 32 years and together they have 4 children.

Shekinah will perform under the tent at 1:00pm

Day Schedule for Car/Tractor Show-09/12/15

Day’s Schedule:

7:00 am- Biscuits & Gravy breakfast (free will offering) till gone
9:00 am- Registration – we will register anyone one who comes earlier anytime after 7:00 am
9:00am-3:00pm- Vendor Fair (inside & outside)
11:00 am – Begin serving lunch (free will offering) will include: grilled pork loin sandwich, potato salad, baked beans; hot dog/chili dog, chips, drink & dessert.
1:00pm- Shekinah Christian Band will perform under the tent
3:00pm- People’s Choice Trophies and other awards will be presented.
Plan to come and spend the day or at least a portion of your day.

We are excited to announce our 2015 Car & Tractor Show will be Saturday, September 12th.  We welcome vintage cars, trucks, garden tractors, other vintage vehicles/equipment to display there vehicles for the day.  We will have trophies for people choice awards for each division.  Also we will have a few other trophies for fun categories. We will be giving an club award for the club who has the most entries.  A suggested entry fee will be $ 10.00 per vehicle (this is used to purchase advertising and door prizes).  You can pre-register by calling 515-961-6069 (church phone), 515-669-5519 (Pastor Gearold’s cell phone) or email GandBMac@hughes.net.  We would like to have your name, address, the color, year, make, and model of your car.  Pre-registration is not required- it just helps speed up the check in process.

We will be having biscuits & gravy available for breakfast (7:00-9:00am) and pork loin sandwiches, potato salad, dessert and a drink available for lunch starting at 11:00am.  All food is free-will offering.

A vendor fair is planned from 9:00am-3:00pm. We are looking for interested vendors.  A suggested vendor fee is $ 15.00.  We will have several spots outside and a limited number inside.  You will be responsible for your own tables, chairs, and tents.  If you are interested in being a vendor please call 961-6069 (church phone), 669-5519 (Pastor Gearold’s cell phone), or email to GandBMac@hughes.net.  We will need to have your name, address, and what you will be selling.   Fairview does reserves the right to refuse any vendor selling product(s) which is against our doctrine.

A Christian band will provide live music beginning at 1:00pm

Awards will be at 3:00pm

We are planning on another year of great vehicles, good food, happy shopping, nice music and a fun relaxing day!
